They are several version of the Opera property management system. We have put together a guide to checking which version you have, the version number and whether it is HOSTED, On-Premise or Cloud.

Checking the Opera PMS version is quite straightforward. First, you will need to go to Help then select About OPERA.
The following page will then appear, the part that we are interested in is OPERA PMS. The below example shows this version of the property management system running on 220.127.116.11
The difference between Opera On-Premise and Opera hosted by Oracle is that the Opera On-Premise is installed on a local server, either at your hotel or at your IT partner. Opera hosted by Oracle is not stored locally but hosted by Oracle.
Opera hosted by Oracle requires the hotel to whitelist certain IP addresses and ports, these can be reviewed at (https://getimpala.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013577599)
As per the below screenshot, you are able to check which of the two versions you are using by reviewing the login URL:
Opera Cloud is not supported as a different interface to Opera On-Premise.
